The Rice Museum explores the huge regional economic and cultural influence that the growing and selling of rice had during the 18th and 19th centuries. In addition to dioramas, maps and artifacts, the museum features the early 1700s Browns Ferry Vessel and the Provost Gallery, which displays rotating works of art by local artists. The museum is located on the Sampit River waterfront in Lafayette Park beside the Maritime Museum Gallery.
Open Mon. - Sat., 10:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.
Adults $5; Seniors (60+) $4; Children and Students (12-21) $2; Children under 12 are free.
